I love this song. I was about in mental break down. Broke moving from place to place. I had keys to different places, broken down cars. My relationship was toxic. Ihad a melt down then gathered strength. I remember yelling15 keys and where do they go? I did not know where I was going, but I left all pressing cares all along the road. Crazy but this song saved me mental anguish. I am sure it has different meaning for all who listen and that is why Jay Farrar is the best at communicating!
A good friend of mine took me to see these guys at the 930 club in DC back in 93 or 94 and I am forever grateful to him for that. This is one of my go to albums when I feel like I need some perspective or just an escape into melody and poetry with a little southern feel.
