There are many people who don’t like grunge, but I like it a lot. Much better than the NWOBHM and many other metal subgenres I think.However at the same time as grunge was coming out of Seattle something called ”Stoner” rock was growing in Palm Desert. I enjoy that stuff a bit more. Josh Homme actually played with these guys for a while after Kyuss and before he started QOTSA.Singer Mark Lanegan also joined QOTSA later.
