I was at the concert in Greenville in 77. Hours before the plane went down. Ronnie took a drink from a quart of Jack right before this song. The last song he ever sang. He was awesome. Still is.
This has got to be my favorite song. Hands down the best live band ever. Look how much fun Allen is having... Just playing guitar. And Garys expressionless face as he tears it up like he always does. Steve is golden. Arty with the drums and cymbles is some kind of percussion master. Ronnie and the girls... Top notch. Leon and Billy tie it all together to form the best song ever!!!!
Ed King was sorely missed by this band and if he had stayed they would have been even better and perhaps stayed alive as he was smart enough to talk them out of getting on that piece of shit airplane.:(
I had front row balcony seats to see Skynryd in Chicago when they released Street Survivors and we lost Ronnie in the plane crash. Still have the ticket.

The first few notes awesome the whole song phenomenal. Rossington giving the finger to the camera right at the first guitar solo nice....
