You never realize how much you love them till they die, it’s the harsh truth. Eventually it happens to everyone. But some, too soon. This happens to be the too soon one. The younger brother looks to be 8-12. It doesn’t seem right for young people to go through all of this. I had this experience with my father. Grief is something you hold on to. But at a young age. You imagine them being there with you. I’m speaking from experience because I remember it. I thought the person I considered as a hero in my life would never die. But it happens. Sometimes it’s hard to hold on and you just break down and cry, or you hold those you love because you need the comfort. But there’s also the times when you just try to hide your emotions. There’s also the five stages of grief. This is denial. My reasoning. He thinks his brother is still there. He’s hesitant to believe he’s gone. But he finally moves on to acceptance. Even though the pain of loss will never go away, it’s still acceptance.
This song reminds me of my brother, who is falsely convicted by police officer for the things that he did not do. And is punished to death. My family and I working so hard right now to get him out. We already took a lawyer to fight for his case. When I heard this song, it reminds me the memories me and my brother did together when we were child. I missed him. He cried when I visited him. I told him to be strong like he used to be until the case is solved.
