My grandparents were married on April 7th, 1956. We lost my grandpa on October 30th after a short battle with cancer. He taught us the value of the love for one another and how to do things yourself. Why pay someone to do it when you can save the money and do it yourself. He once built a water softner out of parts he found at our local dump. He very rarely paid full price. He had no credit as he always paid cash. I miss you Grandpa George.
My old man raised me the old school country way. He taught me at a young age how to work how to fight n love and the killer work ethic. He is my best friend in this world. He is my

Reminds me of my grandpa. Wish I saw him more than once a year. I learned a lot from him and still do when given the chance. I ask questions, then shut up and listen. He raised a family, owned a business and is retired doing things he loves. Not bad for a man that is the youngest of 10 and didn’t finish the 7th grade just so he could keep the family farm going. I used to call him pop pop, now I call him Timmy (his choice). Every time I climb that porch, I’m 5 years old again.
This song reminds of my grandpa. Im 34 and he will be 80 this Halloween. I respect him so much for everything he has done for me. I wouldnt be the man i am today without him. I love you buddy!
