eric claptin said the night stevie last performed before the crash that he was sitting back stage and he was to play next. eric said that stevie opened with a note he had never heard before and after listening to him it was the first time that he was scared to go on stage. because what stevie had just done there was nothing he could do that would even come close. that only says one thing. stevie was THE BEST.
