(time signatures in non notated music are a description of beat stress as you hear it ) If you split it in to big beats, there is an alternation between groupings of 4 and 3. It goes into a straight 4 in the middle of the song, but before then I find it hard to "feel" it in 4 unless you are using uneven beats. :D
This song sticks out in my mind quite a bit off this album. Not just the album, but in Chons entire discography. I’d like to think this is probably my favorite song of theirs. I heard this album during this past summer and it inspired me to pursue guitar playing more seriously. every time I hear this album, particularly this song, I kinda get really sentimental thinking about how good that summer was. A cheesy story, yes. But I think it shows how much of an impact their music has had on me. I want to thank these dudes for putting out some of my favorite music and inspiring me every day.
