It makes me really sad that I never got raised by a dad nor a step dad or a moms boyfriend. My dad ran out on me when I was 2 weeks old. My mom and him were engaged for a year but according to her he wasn’t ready to be a father. My grandpa was considered my dad because he was the only male in my life, he is my other half, the one I trust the most, the one I go to whenever I need someone. I don’t wanna lose my grandpa cause I don’t think I’ll be able to handle it and I’m bawling my cry’s out writing this. This song brings many memories of me and my gramps. I couldn’t be more blessed to be so close with him, and my grandma, only reason I’m still here today was because of him. I was a grandpas girl, he couldn’t say no to me.
