Most hardcore to me sounds like it wants to be brutal like metal but then fails. The vocals are always forced and clunky. The beat almost makes it but then they for some reason they fuck it up. All hardcore bands do this. Ive heard very few hardocre songs that pump me up from start to finish. They start pumping and then deflate.
