Old school stereo mixing, with extreme separation, but how I loved this album when Dad bought it in early 64. This album represents quite a change for Mr. Hirt with the Nashville crew and the gentle singers too. -His fireworks on this song were awesome I must say, and believe me, I know trumpet very well.
Big Al had such a talent to get sweet sounding notes from his trumpet. Despite the fact now 56 years have gone it is still a great tune to hear, The chorus is great too. One of my favorites through the years since I was in my Senior Year of High School.
Another beautiful melody I used to hear after finishing my homework in that last year of High School. I enjoy it again and remember so many things about me and my pals many of whom have passed away by now. If I close my eyes I can still see the schoolroom where we were lectured classes in those days. I can also see in my imagination my teachers who no longer live. This melody stirs my imagination. There are so many things I thought I had forgotten that came to me when I heard it with my eyes closed.

The whole song is one run after another - over and over and over Low to High and back as if the horn would explode~ He truly was the Man With The Horn!
